I had the great pleasure of meeting Mark, when he joined our salon as a trainee hairdresser at 16 years old. Mark has always been vibrant and full of enthusiasm, this was apparent from day one.
Also eager to learn and improve, which enabled him to achieve his NVQ level 2-3 quickly, Mark is continuously having fresh ideas and evolving things he has learnt. And the love and passion Mark has for hair is contagious, and has always influenced colleges and trainees alike.
He achieved a loyal clientele very quickly when qualified, as his caring and energetic personality drew people to him. Mark is always wanting to improve and evolve, as he is constantly coming up with new ideas and technics.
Competition work is something Mark took to easily, allowing him to use his artistic flare- doing competitions early in his career, including European finals in Paris and Frankfurt, & holding his own against seasoned champions and even giving them some competition!
Hairdressing truly is Mark's passion and I feel privileged to have had the pleasure of working along side him.

If you asked me to describe Mark in few words it would be, unique, motivated and his passion for hairdressing is outstanding. I admire Mark in the way he holds a group of young peoples attention and gets them wanting to learn. His work is highly commendable. Mark has great ideas and is always showing the learners new techniques to work with. Which in turn leaves the girls and boys leaving the workshop feeling good about themselves and wanting to further their career, in the same way Mark has. I was amazed with.Marks work. He is a very unique character, with a unique outlook on hair styling & everything surrounding it. My personal experience with Mark was amazing. The detail, time & care he put into doing my hair was refreshing to see. When I was watching him work it was extremely obvious how much his career means to him. The passion he has shines through his work. My hair hasn't looked so good in a long, long time. I'm extremely happy with the cut, & the blowdry & style that Mark did afterwards was incredible!
